Today you will depart Toronto Airport on your overnight flight to Glasgow.

 

Day 2 - In Flight / Glasgow / Edinburgh

On arrival in Glasgow and after clearing Customs & Immigration you will board a coach and transfer to your hostel accommodation in Edinburgh for three nights.

Before arriving at the hostel, you will have an opportunity to stop for refreshments.

Evening at leisure in Edinburgh.

Day 3 - Edinburgh

Today you will have the day free for sightseeing in Edinburgh.  Take the opportunity to visit the Edinburgh Castle. The panorama from the castle gives visitors a chance to appreciate Edinburgh's geological variety: hills, sea and extinct volcanoes as well as its man-made skyline.  Take a walk down the famous Royal Mile. The Royal Mile is Edinburgh's historic highway and synonymous with the Old Town. At 1 mile and 107 yards it connects two of Edinburgh's most important attractions -- Edinburgh Castle and the Palace of Holyrood House. Along the way there are countless specialized shops, pubs, restaurants, hotels and many places of historical and cultural interest.

In the afternoon you will transfer to a local school or junior rugby club for your first game on tour.

Post match reception.

Return to your hostel accommodation.

Day 4 - Edinburgh

Today you will have an opportunity of taking a group tour of the Murreyfield Stadium; home to Scottish Rugby. Feel the passion of Scottish Rugby for yourself by taking a behind the scenes tour of Murrayfield Stadium (if permitted). Follow in the footsteps of legends as you visit the dressing rooms, players tunnel, Royal Box, hospitality suites and the world famous pitch. Tours are conducted Monday to Friday, Weekends and Bank Holidays by arrangement. Tours last approximately an hour and a quarter.

Day 5 - Edinburgh / Stirling

Today you will depart Edinburgh for the Stirling area where you will meet your hosts, a local school or junior rugby club for two nights.

En route, a stop can be arranged at the Stirling Castle where you will have an opportunity of visiting the famous Scottish castle. The castle mounted high on the old volcanic outcrop. It is not confirmed when the Stirling Castel was first built, but the historical records reference to the early 12th Century.  It is recorded that the castle has been built between 1370 and 1750 in various stages by numerous different occupants of the stronghold.  Stirling’s history is probably one the most famous in the world, especially since the release of the ‘Braveheart‘ movie.

On arrival at the host school or junior rugby club, warm up session.

Post match reception.

Meet hosts.  Staff will take local B&B accommodation.

Day 6 - Stirling

Today an excursion will be arranged while your hosts are at school. An opportunity to visit the historic St. Andrew’s.  St. Andrew’s is the home of golf; the sport has been played here for some 600 years.  St. Andrew’s is a town meant for exploring. The medieval layout of the town centre remains intact with the main shopping areas concentrated in Market Street and South Street with Bell Street and Church Street connecting the two principal streets.

Day 7 - Stirling / Glasgow

Today you will depart your hosts in the Stirling area and transfer to Glasgow where you will take hostel accommodation for one night.

There will be a City Tour of Glasgow.

In the afternoon, before arriving at the hostel, you will transfer to a local school or junior rugby club.

Post match reception.

Transfer to your hostel.

Prepare for next day’s departure to Canada.

Day 8 - Glasgow / In Flight / Toronto

Today you will board a coach and transfer to Glasgow Airport where you will board your return flight to Toronto.

P.M. (local time) – Arrive in Toronto.
